Originally created as an internal form of kung fu, Tai Chi consist of 24 steps to help improve balance and calm. Tai Chi Chuan therefore is a type of kung fu that is able to use soft strength in restraining the strong power of an opponent. Qi is the bodies life force and Tai Chi is a way to harness the bodies energy for improved strength, focus, vibrance and alertness to the possibilities of life.

Qi Gong is a form of meditation that helps to harness the bodies Qi.

Having studied under the Shaolin Monks at Kunyu Shun Shaolin Martial Arts Academy in Yanti, China I have experienced first-hand the amazing abilities when one can harness and control the Qi.
